Medicarom Group was set up in 1993. Since then our company has grown significantly, becoming one of the largest medical companies in Romania.
Medicarom Group started its activity cooperating exclusively with clinical labs. Presently, the company is involved in all medical sectors on the market as a result of its continuous desire to develop and implement its organizational strategies.
Its line of business includes providing medical service, import, marketing sand distributing medical products for the health system.
Medicarom Group is sole representative in Romania of some of the world’s largest medical companies.
Medicarom Group has set new aims for the medical systems as follows:
- Implementing new informatics integrated systems in medical units all over Romania
- Building a medicine assay factory in Romania
- Developing the Medcenter activities on the existent premises
- Opening new Laboratories and Medical Centers Medcenter
- Expanding its line of business to include surgical equipment
- Continuing the outsourcing process for Medcenter medical testing laboratories
- Developing new partnerships in order to supply new laboratory services.

Medicarom Group was founded as a result of the desire to contribute to the development and promoting high quality products on the Romanian market, a fact which would eventually lead to the improvement of the population health state.
Our activity has as aim supplying high quality products at reasonable prices as well as promoting the latest products and technology of the medical sector. We also ensure professional support to our beneficiaries throughout the country. Our aim is to earn the trust of as much beneficiaries as possible, both as our medical services are concerned, as well as the supplied products. We want to meet the desires and expectations of our beneficiaries. We also want to create a social environment where quality, effectiveness and confidence, promoted by our company by means of its products, become the main instruments of the medical system for beneficiaries, intermediaries, consumers.
The Medicarom Group team has 900 members: MD’s, pharmacists, biologists, chemists, lawyers and specialized managers (21 members of the manager team are attending MBA courses). By means of competitive and effective cooperation they work together in order to reach maximum performance and to be successful in whatever they set as goal.
One of the most effective instruments that our company uses is the well organized distribution system. It benefits from de 200 vehicles, 18 trucks and a variety of communication systems.
Medicarom’s subsidiaries are established in: Iasi, Cluj, Bucuresti, Timisoara, Buzau, Braila, Baia Mare, Constanta, Focsani.
